In John Bunyon’s classic Pilgrim’s Progress, he describes the Christian life in the similitude of a dream, with each character involved living up to his name. One of the noblest characters was “Great Heart”, who served as a protector, encourager, and guide to defenseless women and children. He was noted for his upbuilding character and firm, but gentle instructions. This is some of the inspiration behind the name of our newest herbal tea blend: Great Heart Tea.

Botanical Ingredients:
Hawthorn Leaf, Flower & Berry, Elderberry, Bilberry, Nettle Leaf, Ginger Root, Linden Leaf & Flower, Red Clover Blossom, Dandelion Leaf.
Suggested Use:
Directions: Use 1-3 tablespoons of tea per quart of water. Heat water to almost boiling, remove from heat, and pour over tea. Stir, cover, and steep for 10 to 20 minutes or more. Strain, sweeten if desired, and serve. Adjust amount of tea, steeping time, and temperature according to preference. That’s the beauty of loose-leaf tea, you can make it to taste!
